At Brightly, we’re reinventing ageing.
Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets. But for many of us, entering our 60s, 70s and beyond brings more anxiety than freedom.
We fear losing our independence or having to leave our homes. We worry about becoming frail, unwell and reliant on others. Families feel anxious too, unsure what will happen as their parents age. Some feel guilty, most feel unprepared.
Our current system is not working. It is failing older people, their whānau, the people who deliver care, and those who fund it. Health issues are often ignored until they become urgent creating unnecessary stress and suffering. The result is worse outcomes for people and additional strain on emergency departments, hospital beds and staff already under pressure.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Brightly is a new way of managing ageing—proactive, personalised and powered by technology.
We support people from 65 onwards, to stay well, connected, and in their homes for as long as possible. Rather than being fragmented and reactive, Brightly delivers joined-up, person-centred care that is timely, easy to navigate, and mana enhancing.
At the core of our model is Brightly Pathway, a dynamic, whole-of-person health and wellbeing pathway designed to maintain and strengthen functional ability as we age.
It's based on a comprehensive assessment framework called Brightly Compass, which examines the full spectrum of physical, cognitive, psychological and social wellbeing.
HealthPath provides Brightly members with regular health reviews and digital monitoring to support early detection and timely intervention. This allows us to anticipate rather than react, and to customise care and support accordingly.
As health needs evolve, the Brightly Care Team—a multidisciplinary group working closely with a member’s GP and other health and aged care providers—coordinates clinical, practical, and social care and support. From physios to mental health experts, dietitians to dementia specialists, our team wraps around each member to ensure their care remains coherent and connected.
When more specialist or condition-specific input is required, we connect members to best-in-class experts through the Brightly Network, a carefully curated group of medical specialists, diagnostic experts and surgeons with deep experience in ageing-related care.
