The one legal document every family needs to talk to their parents about.

There comes a point in almost every family when the roles begin to reverse.

The people who spent decades making decisions for you slowly start to need someone to decide for them. It gets to a point when someone must sign paperwork, move money, consent to treatment or decide whether mum or dad can still live safely at home.

That is usually when families discover something surprising. Mum and dad have a will, but not the legal document that matters most while they are alive – an enduring power of attorney (EPOA).
